Sugar Toast!!!

Hey friends,

I will share this extremely simple and tasty sweet dish as dish’s name suggest. I ate this at one of my friend’s house, so without wasting much time let’s get going with the dish.

INGREDIENTS

1. Baked toast of any brands like nafees, parle or Britannia. That we people in India normally eat with tea in morning or evening or anytime when we are at home and hungry like whole day.

2. Ghee (clarified butter)

3. Sugar and water.

So we would start cooking SUGAR TOAST!!!

  1. Put pan on stove on medium flame and put some ghee in pan to fry the toast.
  2. Once ghee gets heated fry your toast like 1-2 mins and pull out all toasts from pan and put them on tissue paper so that all the excess ghee is absorbed by the tissue.
  3. Now we will prepare the sugar syrup, again put the pan on stove this time on high flames and put 250ML water once it starts boiling add sugar to the water in similar amount in our case 250 kg and cook it till we get a wire like formation of syrup when we drop it after lifting a spoon full of sugar syrup. We can add lemon leaves in it while boiling to remove impurities of sugar.
  4. If you want you can always add ilayachi (cardamom) and kesar (saffron) to it to enhance the taste and essence of the sugar syrup.

Now put the fried toast in freshly cooked sugar syrup, Our SUGAR TOAST is ready to eat. HAPPY EATING 🙂
